ix provides sandbox infrastructure for AI agents with git-like branching semantics. Fork and snapshot full environments — databases, files, processes — in 26ms. Every mutation creates a commit, branches point to the tip, and you can diff against any prior state. Idle branches cost almost nothing with memory reclamation and deduplication. Scales to 3 TB RAM, 384 vCPUs, 1 PB storage.
